The BACdesk from HERMOS offers specialists as well as inexperienced users a simple yet powerful entry point into the world of BACnet networks. The application possibilities of the BACdesk range from the use as a browser, to the integration of new or existing installations, to the use as a generic BACnet Advanced Operator Workstation (B-AWS).

Due to the growing degree of digitalization and the merging of building automation and energy management, the amount of information and its diversity are increasing rapidly. At the same time, the industry is experiencing a shortage of skilled workers and is struggling against this flood of information with unchanged or reduced personnel. Over the entire life cycle of buildings or properties, this information in connection with BACnet networks (functions, services, etc.) must be visualized in a detailed, structured, independent but still clear and quickly findable way.

For this purpose HERMOS has developed the fully comprehensive BACnet workstation "BACdesk".

HERMOS looks back on 38 years in the automation industry, on 27 years with other building control systems, on 22 years with its own building control system, a BACnet stack developed for it and resulting from this 10 years of experience with BACnet tools and their certification. Based on this experience and the feedback from end users of the predecessor software "BACnet Integrator", "BACdesk" was developed. In the future, further development will continue close to the customer. Of course, the changes and extensions of the BACnet standard will also flow into this development.
