The Internet of Things (IoT) is the term used to describe the network of physical objects (“Things”) that are equipped with sensors, software and other technology to connect them to other devices and systems via the Internet so that data can be exchanged between the objects. These devices range from ordinary household objects to sophisticated industrial tools.
