The DWA is intensively committed to the development of safe and sustainable water management. As a politically and economically independent organization, it works professionally in the fields of water management, wastewater, waste and soil protection.
In Europe, the DWA is the association with the largest membership in this field and holds a special position due to its technical competence with regard to rule-making, education and information of the public. The approximately 14,000 members represent the experts and executives from municipalities, universities, engineering offices, authorities and companies.
