Year 1: Vocational training
You alternate between the company and vocational school & write your intermediate exam at the end. In the company you are in the switch cabinet production, get an insight into our engineering, see our PLC software and learn about commissioning.
From year 2: Study in Coburg
From now on you will only be in the company during the semester breaks.
Semester 1-3: Basic studies
Basics of electrical engineering, learning programming in a high-level language (C# ), laboratory experiments
Semester 4: Practical semester
You are in the company for the whole semester and write a practical report – The final exam for electronics technician for industrial engineering after semester 4
Semester 5-7: Advanced studies
Modules in different areas as well as the bachelor thesis in semester 7, here you specialize e.g. engineering, PLC software, …
During your dual study program, you will receive comprehensive theoretical and practical training as an electrical engineer. From the basics of electrical engineering to programming and commissioning of the PLC to the tasks in project management, you will learn about the diversity of this activity.
